Men of Courage

1 Cor. 16:13-14: Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong. Everything you do should be done in love.

Men PrayingMen of Courage was formed out of the need for community and relationship between men at MCON. We hold each other accountable and provide positive examples to each other of how to be godly men in order to lead our families. Young men who have no father figure or an unbelieving father need to be mentored by more mature men. We try to lead by example and reflect God’s love to them so they can grow in their spiritual maturity.|

Through Men of Courage, we are teaching men how to practice servant leadership in their homes and to be wholeheartedly committed to God. Through this, men are better husbands creating stronger marriages and better fathers creating stronger families. We build community within the group allowing for personal relationships to form. Our goal is for each man at MCON to be held accountable by at least one other man. We challenge our men to witness in their workplace, equipment men to be prayer warriors, empower them to be courageous by doing what is right even when it will cost them.

Men of Courage come together on the third Saturday of each month for social gatherings, service projects, meals, teaching and training. Small groups of men meet throughout the week for accountability.
