Missions: Reaching the lost is a pivotal role for Marshfield Church of the Nazarene. From local mission outreach programs that help those in need of basic necessities to reaching the lost via worldwide broadcast programs, MCON is dedicated to reaching the lost. Our Mission statement: To mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.
Children’s Ministry: At MCON we have many different ministries and events where children learn about the Word and how to share their faith. Our church’s theme is “Becoming Christlike for the sake of others” and that’s the common theme including the Children’s Department. Our kids play a great role in today’s society and church, and we are trying to spiritually prepare them for the future!
Pursuit Youth Ministry: The Mission statement of Pursuit Youth Ministries is to direct our youth to FEARLESSLY and PASSIONATELY pursue a relationship with God, and while growing closer to the Lord, become a reflection of Christ to all those they come into contact with.
Young Adults: After “graduating” from the youth department, young adults sometimes feel lost without the fellowship they experienced in the past. This age group is looking for friendship, guidance and discipleship. At MCON our young adult program, called MCON Crusaders, fills this need. With an active group of 18-24 year-olds, interaction with Pursuit Youth Ministries and events geared to fit their needs, the Crusaders provide a wonderful atmosphere to further grow in Christ.
Women’s Ministry: The Women’s Ministry at MCON, rEVOLution is for all women 18 and up. They meet the first Tuesday night of each month for Bible Study, Prayer and Fellowship. Their desire is to become the women that God created them to be, as wives, mothers, daughters and friends. They also have Accountability Groups which are small groups of women that meet weekly at various times and locations. Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18
Men’s Ministry: Men of the church come together on the third Saturday of each month for social gatherings, service projects, meals, teaching, and training. Small groups of men meet throughout the week for accountability. This group is called Men of Courage which is based on 1 Cor. 16:13-14: Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong. Everything you do should be done in love.
