At MCON Kids we use Joshua 22:5 and Matthew 19:14-15 to guide our teaching, ministry philosophy, and vision.
Joshua 22:5 “Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”
Matthew 19:14-15 “But Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.’ And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.”
At MCON Kids we seek to point the youngest worshipers in the church to God and help them to grow in the faith. It is our goal to create a safe and exciting environment where kids are free to make new friends and experience Jesus. It is our desire for kids to develop a lifelong relationship with Christ and to serve Him always.
Join us Sunday Mornings for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Our volunteers are dedicated to cultivating wonder and curiosity in our children for God’s story. Children of all ages can make their way to classrooms that correspond with their grade level. Here, kids will work alongside their teachers to dive into God’s word and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Christ. Immediately following Sunday School, join us for kids worship at 10:30 a.m. where all kids are welcome to join Pastor Kelsey in worship and in the study of God’s word. This is a fun and interactive service where children are free to explore the story of God and spend time reflecting on what they have learned through interactive prayer stations. Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. kids can participate in small groups where they can connect with friends and build community. During this time, they will discover the power of scripture and how it can impact our daily lives.
