Children’s Ministry

At Marshfield Church of the Nazarene, we believe that children will start their life-long relationship with Christ by receiving sound biblical teaching. We strive to teach children wile they are young about Jesus Christ and how they can live a life for God based on biblical principles that will last a lifetime.

During the Sunday School hour, children preschool to 6th grade meet in different classrooms where they learn about Christ’s love for them through Bible teachings and activities. We have several dedicated teachers who make this valuable ministry possible.

DSC_5603During the Worship Hour we have a children’s service known as K.I.D.S. TEAM. We use praise and worship, Bible lessons, games, activities and adventures to teach our children about God and what He has in store for each and every child.

For the younger children, we offer Nursery and Wee Church during the worship hour. In Wee Church children learn about God, his creation, his Son and how it all ties together using fun and interactive lessons involving crafts, songs and object lessons.

On Wednesday nights the children separate into different age groups; Kindergarten, grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6.  These groups are designed to provide a small-group feel where students learn more in depth about the Word and share how they are doing in their personal spiritual walks. During the summer we alter our Wednesday night schedule to hold Camp Summer Fun where we do different activities each Wednesday night with all of the kids together. This is a great time to worship and fellowship with one another during the summer months.

There are several other Children’s Ministry programs at MCON including Vacation Bible School, Kid’s Camp, Kid’s Discipleship Groups, Christmas Musicals and more! We invite your children join us and participate in learning about the Lord so that they may live a life according to what God has in store for them.
